Sailing (for everyone) Is Our Tradition
With a pier and mooring field sitting at the mouth of Black Rock Harbor, sailors and boaters have immediate access to their vessels and are on Long Island Sound enjoying the surrounding waters in no time.
Black Rock Yacht Club (BRYC) has a vibrant racing and cruising community. Enjoy a calendar of on-water opportunities all season long. Join a crew for Wednesday Night Racing around the buoys or for a Friday evening social Chowder Race. Or, learn how to sail in a 2-person keelboat in a sailing clinic using an Ideal 18 from the Club's fleet, which always available to members.
Our membership includes hearty ocean-going racers, casual cruisers, powerboaters and members just learning to sail. At BRYC, you will find open arms, a hello and a smile. There are opportunities for all levels of interest and experience.
